Call to Action

In 2004, the Massachusetts Legislature enacted Chapter 181 of the Acts of 2004“An Act Relative to Eye Examinations for Children”, a bill sponsored by Majority Leader Ronald Mariano.  This was an important first step.  THE NEXT STEP in the development of a statewide comprehensive children’s vision health program is the passage and enactment of H3224 an act to establish a children’s vision registry and special commission on childhood vision and eye health. Children, accompanied by parents or other adults, are welcome and encouraged to attend.
